Our Story
In the fall of 1995, our founder, Matt, embarked on his collegiate journey at Rollins College, a small institution in Florida. As a curious freshman studying a blend of marketing, technology, and philosophy, he eagerly sought ways to combine his passions. It was then he noticed something puzzling – Rollins College didn’t have a website. Perplexed, he sought answers from the suits in charge.
The Provost, impressed by Matt’s enthusiasm, revealed they had been contemplating a website and asked if he could create one. Undeterred by his lack of experience, Matt embraced the challenge, confident in his ability to learn. Just a few months later, Rollins College unveiled its first website, born from the unexpected setting of a freshman’s dorm room in Ward Hall.
This marked not only a milestone for the college, but also the beginning of a 25-year career in higher education marketing. The college community, impressed by the young student’s ingenuity, began entrusting him with projects for various departments. Coincidentally, Matt’s father, a professor at the business school and accomplished textbook author, involved him in pioneering online higher education projects with esteemed companies such as McGraw-Hill, Austin Press, and Prentice Hall.
Today, the same spirit of curiosity and dedication that drove Matt to create Rollins’ first website fuels our higher education marketing agency. We believe that every college and university should have access to the right tools and strategies to effectively share their unique stories. And part of our mission is to empower institutions to engage the next generation of students, who will ultimately shape a brighter future for all.
